Iguana Terrarium Set Up

"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Nicole. This terrarium here is the one that I'm using for my Iguana it's actually a rabbit hutch that I modified to use as my Iguana terrarium. Iguanas like to have the open air cages although glass works just as well for them it's just hard to provide a very large glass enclosure. So this here works great for him at this age anyways he has the wire on the outside, it has no loose ends, no sharp ends here. The sharp ends are protected so he's safe in that department he has the foliage around here that makes him feel as though he's a little bit more in nature than in the house. They spend a lot of times in high areas so he's laying on his basking stick there which I provided underneath his light so he can warm up. He has the lighting over there, he has the day lamp on right now and at night time these lights are on timers so that one will turn off in the evening when we're turned on. This one also the evening light is an inferred bulb. He can't see the red but it will provide adequate heat for his night time temperatures. Over here I keep his food and water where it's enclosed so I can keep most of the other foreign objects that don't end up in his cage out of the food and water area. But unfortunately he's adapted as his little box so there went that idea but I do have the food dish and water dish in here. I just use standard cat dishes for him; those tend to work really well for the Iguanas. He also has the lower level which is more like the ground level. I provided thick foliage down here. It is artificial but I provided this so that he can nose around in it, they really like to snoop around and see what is going on. So I provided that for his enjoyment down there and he does spend most of his time on top although."
