"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Nicole. When it's time for you to buy your terrarium you need to decide what type of terrarium you need. Depending on what type of animal you have, for most reptiles a glass aquarium with a screen top works great. Unless it's a reptile that needs fresh air habitat, you want to do a screen or wire cage or even a small rodent would require some sort of wire caging. Other things you're going to need to purchase with your terrarium include shelter, you are going to need food and water, you are going to need artificial environment. Supplies such as plants; you are going to need bedding and lighting if necessary and toys if that is something that you pet will require. There are several different sizes of terrariums available depending on what size your animal is a small animal such as this one won't get to bit to grow out of this habitat. Now something such as an Iguana you can buy something small to begin with and the upgrade as the animal progresses. But it's best to buy the terrarium that you're going to be using for the duration of the animals life for the first terrarium you buy. "
