Local pet stores usually employ people who have expertise in certain areas of all different types of animals and they will usually be able to answer most of your questions you have about your snakes. Now if you don't want to go to your pet store you can also find a book from the hematological book from the hematological Society often puts out really good books which will answer any questions that you can possibility have about your snakes health, safety, housing, feeding. Any questions you can have most of the time these books can answer, you can also go online to www.kingsnakes.com to find more information on king snakes and several other species. I got most of my knowledge on snakes from experience I got my first snake a few years ago and I was really into her. I though it was really neat to be raising reptiles so when ever I had a question I just looked it up in a book, looked it up onlie. I found out my own answers and eventually I just retained all that information. Now I work in a pet store and people ask me questions about their reptiles all the time and if I don't know the answer I go and look it up. That way I get the most knowledge out of my reptiles and I'm able to answer the questions that our customers have."
