We have covered mineral supplementation and now I would like to point out the importance of vitamin supplementation. Most of the feeder insects that we offer to any of our animals are simply not complete when it comes to vitamins and minerals. There are several products out on the market including the Dendrocare and also the Herptivite that do go a long way in helping to ensure a more rounded out diet. Many other types of vitamin supplements are available and can be used. The important thing is to definitely use at least one. It is even better to rotate through them even choosing 2 or 3 different supplements and use them off and on in between each other to provide the widest range of vitamin supplementation. Failure to do so, usually will result in deficiencies and can even result in shorten life span. "
