"Hi my name is Sarah and this is Halibut, and I am one of the exotic technicians here at Extra Care Animal Hospital, and on behalf of Expert Village.com, I am going to provide you with some helpful information on owning a rabbit. As far as toys go, some rabbits like having toys and some rabbits don’t. It is up to you to figure out if your rabbit is one of the rabbits that enjoy having toys. There are lots of different toys out on the market for bunnies. It is just a matter of trying out different toys and seeing which one your bunny likes. As far as chewing goes with your rabbits, rabbits should have an outlet to expend energy chewing, because this is something that they usually do a lot. If you don’t give them something that you want them to chew on, they will chew on things you do not want them to chew on, such as your baseboards, wires and things in your household. Things that you can offer them would be things like old phone books or old magazines. You want to make sure that anything you offer them is printed with a soy based ink. Most periodicals, books, phone books and things like that are printed with soy based ink these days, but it is a good idea to just double check. If you would like more information about our animal hospital, you can visit our website at www.extracareanimal.net."
