"Hi! My name is Sarah. I work at Extra Care Animal Hospital; I am one of the technicians there. I am here at Petland in Pembroke Pines today to tell you a little bit about hamster care on behalf of Expert Village.com. In addition to all of the different types of wooden hide boxes that are available for your hamster, there are a number of different plastic hide boxes available. It is important that any hide box for your hamster be replaced every few months for hygienic reasons. It is advisable that you purchase a small travel cage for your hamster, such as this one, for trips such as visits to the vet. Cardboard boxes or carriers can be chewed through very quickly by your hamster and may result in escape.
