"Hi! My name is Sarah. I work at Extra Care Animal Hospital; I am one of the technicians there. I am here at Petland in Pembroke Pines today to tell you a little bit about hamster care on behalf of Expert Village.com. As with any pet, a good quality diet and fresh clean water must be provided at all times. Hamsters in the wild eat plants, seeds, fruit and insects. Hamsters in captivity should be fed a pelleted diet consisting of 15 to 20 percent protein. These rations should be provided and processed pelleted blocks such as these and can be supplemented with a very small amount of a seed mix. Seed diets are also formulated but should be used only as a supplement to the pelleted block diet. If you would like any more information about the animal hospital that I work at, you can go to www.extracareanimalhospital.net, and if you would like anymore information about Petland in Pembroke Pines, you can go to www.petland.com.
