Water for Your Pet Mouse

As far as providing water for your mouse goes, you should provide a sipper bottle attached to the cage. Mice tend to not do well with water bowls like some of the larger small mammal pets do. Therefore, that is why the sipper bottle is recommended. You should clean the sipper bottle and refill it everyday. You want to make sure it stays clean. You want to make sure that you check the tip everyday to make sure that the water comes out easily, because sometimes these can become stuck or clogged. They will prevent your mouse from getting water, and obviously, that would be a life-threatening situation. You can choose to purchase 2 or 3 bottles and run them through the dishwasher or you can just get one bottle and wash it thoroughly with hot soapy water everyday."
