on 8/2/2008 I´m sorry, but that cage you´re showing is by far too small!!!It´s too small, there is nothing for the mouse to do in it besides running in the wheel(which is too small to>>causes lordosis in mice)and feeding. What a shame! And keeping a single mouse is absolutely cruel. I´m shocked to see this kind of information all over the web. People get your info right, before posting so-called expert advice!

" Hi! My name is Sarah, I’m at Petland in Pembroke Pines, Florida tonight and on behalf of expertvillage.com, I’m going to speak with you a little bit about caring for mice. While you’re at the pet store you also want to look for an appropriate cage for your mouse. An appropriate cage would be one such as this that have space between the bars small enough that the mouse cannot get out of the cage. It is very important that you get an appropriate cage because mice can be escape artist. It is advisable that you get a cage like this one that is solid plastic at the bottom and wire on the top, as aquariums do not provide sufficient ventilation and can cause your mouse to have respiratory infection. Mice may be housed in aquariums at pet stores, but that generally is not recommended housing for mice throughout their lifetime. "
