Tips & Methods for Taking Off the Horse's Blanket Safely & Properly

"Hi my name is Sarah Stetner I'm a expert horse rider on behalf of Expert Village. In this video I'm just showing you how to put on a blanket and a hood and a sleazy or a slinky as if it is called. We are to the part were we are taking it all off. I just took off the hood in the last segment so now I'm going to go ahead and take the blanket off. So what you do is if you do have chest straps is go ahead and unbuckle them. Is use I put this over his head so there is no chest straps or there is chest straps that are buckle all the time. So the first thing I'm going to do here is go ahead and unbuckle the belly strap. Then I'm going to unbuckle the leg straps. You want to make sure that you unbuckle every single strap because if you don't you can forget and once you take off the blanket if you forget to unbuckle leg strap which is right here. I mean that it could catch on the horses leg and he could be really stiff on his leg and you he be like hay you forgot this and then it could still be caught. So you make sure that you take off all the straps. We are going to go over here and take off the other straps. You want to walk around the horse before you take off the blanket. Make sure that all the straps are undone."
