Summary: In this clip learn about how to properly set feeding times.
"Hi my name is Sarah Stetner and I'm a expert horse rider on behalf of Expert Village. We just feed the horses and I have showed you how to prepare the oats, how to give them there oats, how to give them a flake of hay. So now I want to talk about a set feeding times. Once you get a horse on a routine say that feeding time is about five o'clock they stick to that feeding time. Five o'clock at night or say that you feed them a eight in the morning these guys are very on a routine schedule which if you say miss it by a hour or two these guys haven't done anything bad but they do get very cranky. But, I heard of horses actually like pawing at the barn like breaking down walls and stuff because they got a set feeding schedule and then there owners didn't follow through with it at that set time. So this guys are like I guess that you could say I don't know a male when they are hungry there hungry they want to eat. Or at lease my boyfriend does. So anyways alright so I just make sure that you keep them on a set schedule if you do the best thing you do is not have them on a set schedule but, like feeding like once at four and night and then six at night. Just kind of shift it around so they don't get on that set schedule because say that you are gone or something and you miss that schedule it is not going to be pretty. These guys get really cranky."
