"Hello my name is Sarah Stetner. I am an expert horse rider on behalf of Expert Village. I'm just showing you how to clean a tack right now. This is a English saddle that I am cleaning. I'm just getting some more saddle soap because I want to remind you guys to not to forget the cinch. The cinch is a part that goes underneath the horse's stomach and it makes the saddle tight. Or holds on the saddle. So let's go ahead and do this cinch front and bottom. Because in the show ring you can see the cinch and not only that, I mean that this is the main part of the saddle. You just want to make sure you get all this conditioned as well. It usually takes me about, I would say, I say about 15-20 minutes to clean my saddles, both of them, that is each separately. The English saddle, the western saddle does take a little bit longer, it takes probably about a half hour for me to do it throughly, because I do need to clean this silver on the western saddle as well and I use a toothbrush to do that. A toothbrush with silver to do that just to let you know. So this is cleaning an English saddle."
