"Hi! This is Sharon Booth with Goldenrod Performance Horses. We are representing Expert Village here and we are going to learn how to get the right equipment for your horse. As you know your horse is a large animal and you are going to have to have equipment to number one, to catch and lead your horse and ride your horse. Or if you are driving your horse, you are going to need that equipment. So we are looking for first a halter to put on the horse to catch it. We have this square halter or you have this rope halter Then you have a saddle that you are going to want to put on the horse. So basic saddles are English or Western and each one of those comes with its own type of equipment with a saddle. You have the saddle blanket and sometimes you have a breast collar. Sometimes you can have a back cinch with this Western saddle like this but basically these are two different types of saddles that you may be using. The other equipment that you are going to need is a lunge line for lunging your horse for exercise. So as we go through the different types of equipment, just know that sometimes that you may have a lunging whip like this one and sometimes you may have a riding quirt like this one. Always learn from a trainer how to use any and all of this equipment. Thank you."
