"Okay, so our fuzzy is nice and soft and malleable, you can see. He's all nice and thawed through. Now, normally I wouldn't be handling with my hands at this point, because that's going to be increase my chance of getting accidentally bitten because I'll smell like the fuzzy. But, I just wanted to show you how soft he was. So the next thing you want to do is you want to get your sand boa in a separate feeding enclosure like this one. You never want to feet inside his own home because you want to disassociate yourself from feeding as much as possible. So you want a separate feeding enclosure, just a little tub. You're going to put him in there, you're going to get your feeding tongs, and your fuzzy mouse just like this, and then we're going to go ahead and just introduce it to him, face first. Not sure if he'll eat for me today or not. There. There he goes. Now sand boas are a constricting snake, so what he's done is he's grabbed the pinkie mouse, the fuzzy, and he's constricting it to kill it, though it's already dead. And then he'll swallow it whole. Snakes teeth are not designed to bite and hurt you, but they are designed to bite and pull prey in."
