"Now, there's a lot of different kinds of crested geckos out there. And when I mean kinds, I mean color morphs. What I have here in my hand is your pretty much run of the mill, average crested gecko. He's very, very cute, but not necessarily the most colorful creature in the world. There are lots of very beautiful breed-specific colors. The crested gecko is one of the few animals in the reptile kingdom that we've been able to breed through some amazing color morphs. Harlequins and flames and pumpkins and orange bursts. There's just so many. It's impossible to name them all. So, if your local pet store doesn't have what you want, definitely look around on line. There's lots of very good breeders on line that you can check with and see what they carry. There's many different beautiful color morphs. Find the right one for you. Find the one that's going to speak to you and you're going to find interesting and you're going to be able to keep for a long time. If the chocolates or the browns, don't do it for you, look at the harlequins, look at the pumpkins, look at the flames. There are so many beautiful ones out there, you can't go wrong. Be aware -- you're going to spend more on one of these designer color morphs than you are on a regular crested gecko. While this guy may run you around eighty bucks, a designer color may run you in the hundred and fifty to two hundred dollar range. Maybe even more. So, be aware of that. But, you know, you're going to have this animal for a long time. You want to make sure it's something that you're going to love and that you're going to be interested in. So, find the right color morph for you."
