"Next thing we're going to discuss is the proper diet for your crescent gecko. Now, crescent geckos are the rare opportunity for a reptile, where their not entire insectivore's, they also eat a variety of mashed and mushed up fruits. So, you can actually stretch that cricket bill a little bit more and you don't necessarily have to make as many trips to the, to the pet store for those crickets. But, let's discuss the type of vegetables he can, the type of fruits he can get. You can purchase at any store, if their properly stocked, a crescent gecko diet, meal replacement diet. Essentially what this is, is a powdered formula, you're going to mix with a little bit of water and let it sit, it congeals and becomes sort of the kind of consistency of, of well, baby food. Crescent gecko's will eat that, it's basically, it's going to be fruit flavored, it's a complete diet. It's never bad for you to have some around the house, maybe feed it two or three times a week. Sometimes they like it, sometimes they don't. You just kind of got to play with your own individual reptile and see whether they prefer it or not. You can also buy your garden variety baby food, any company will work, though higher quality, the better. And, this is something you're going to have to probably place a little bit more often cause baby food does tend to go bad a little bit faster. You want to stick with definitely the fruit flavored ones, particularly apples and bananas, they tend to like those the best. So, that's definitely another option you can try. Again with any, either of these foods since they are gels based and they are fruit based, they do mold very easily, so make sure you place them on a daily basis. And, of course, the third option is, is you can just get fresh fruits and mash them up for the reptile, which works just as well. "
