"O.k, so now we have a little baby crescent gecko. We have our enclosure all set up. How do we not kill it? Well, crescent geckos are pretty easy to care for, however things you should watch out for- always make sure you have the proper humidity, you want to make sure you're misting him daily. Definitely keep that humidity up, if it starts to dry out too much, he's going to have problems shedding, he's going to have problems keeping his eyes open, things like that, so keep your humidity up. Secondly, over feeding- crescent geckos are not the most veracious feeders in the world and you want to make sure you're not putting too many crickets in their enclosure at any one time. You should never see tons of crickets running around in an enclosure. What they will do if you have too many in there is they can actually team up and they can eat your gecko. It has been known to happen, they will over power and chew him to death. So, definitely be a little bit more stingy with the crickets, you know, feed what he eats in one sitting. Don't dump a whole bunch in for a whole week, that an be a little bit dangerous. Always make sure that his fresh fruits are nice and fresh. You don't want to let them sit for a whole day and start to mold. Moldy fruits and/or baby food, if that's what you're using, but we'll get to the diet in a second, can cause health and digestive issues and that's not really something you want to get into, So, always be careful with the care as far as that. And, you always want to make sure that if you do see any mold either growing on the substrate, or in the food that you remove that immediately, cause we don't need that affecting your reptiles overall health."
