"The last guy we're going to talk about is the crested gecko. This is a, more of a tropical lizard than the other two, which are desert. He's going to get, again, to be about the same size as a leopard gecko, six to eight inches. So they are decently sized. They're not tiny by any stretch of the imagination when they get big. You do need a little bit more space than a leopard gecko for one of these guys; you're looking at like, a twenty high--you're looking for a lot of height on your aquarium, more so than a footprint. So, they are going to take a little bit more size up in your home, so if you had that available, and leopard geckos aren't doing it for you, a crested gecko is definitely somebody to look at. Not to mention the fact that, personally for me, I think crested geckos are just a little bit cuter than the leopard gecko. They're also much more handleable, you can get it out and handle it a lot easier, though they can be a little jumpy. Plus, crested geckos are one of the few lizards out there that actually eat fruit as well as crickets. So you can--the diet is a little bit more easy to supplement; he doesn't need crickets every day. You can give him mashed up fruit, or fruit-flavored baby foods, and there's also crested gecko diets--mixes on the market, where it's a powder, you mix it with water. Again, they are--they do come in lots of different colors, just like a leopard gecko does. Anything from Dalmatians?, to harlequins and flames, so they are a very attractive lizard, and as you can see, he's very easygoing, and very tame."
