"My name is Laura and I am here to tell you about dwarf hamsters. Caring for your hamster is relatively simple. They don't require a lot of attention. You want to make sure that you have a good hamster food and a supply of water on hand at all times. Hamsters are rodents and they need to chew all the time. You need to make sure that you have something in their cage for them to chew on. Otherwise, their front teeth will become overgrown and they will get malocclusion. Malocclusion occurs when their teeth becomes so over grown that they cannot chew right. If this happens, you will need to take your hamster to a vet to have them file down their teeth. Otherwise, your hamster will not survive. You can also supplement your hamsters diet with fresh fruits and vegetables. Carrots are a great for hamsters as is timothy hay."
