"Hi, I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to show you my tips and techniques to properly bridle your horse with a English bridle. So when you go to place your bridle on your horses head, you want to basically want your horses head over your right shoulder. When you go to hold your bridle, you are going to want to take your crown piece in your right hand. You want to take the bit in your left hand. So when you go to put it on, you can hold it like this and it enables you to put the bit in the horses mouth and pull the crown piece up over the ears really easily. Also too when you have your bridle head up like this, this enables you to keep a little bit better control of the horses head cause you can keep the horse head over your shoulder like this. So the horse is enable to escape or if your horse does not like having the bit put in its mouth, this gives it a little bit better control, a little bit more weight to hold on. So that is how you want to hold the bridle to put it on your horse."
