"Hi, I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you my tips and techniques to properaly bridle your horse with a English bridle. One thing you can do if you have a horse that has a tendency to wonder when you take the halter off is you can actually take your halter. You can unclip it here and you can just zip it around the horse neck. There head is free so you are able to put the bridle on it but you still have a little bit of control here. Your horse is still tied to something, this would work well to if you are in the aisle of a barn and your horse is cross tied. Which means it has ties on either side of it from the aisle. So this would keep your horse tied so you can have a little bit better control over your horse. If your horse tends to get a little pushy or tends to walk away or does not like having the bridle put on. So this would just keep a little bit better control over your horse. "
