Video Transcript

"Once you are secure and confident at a rising trot you can move on to cantering. To get the canter you are going to use your outside leg which is the leg near the rail and you will bring it back to help stimulate to help get the inside lead. So we are going to start with a sitting trot. And I'm going to bring my outside leg back, keeping a little inside bend and you will notice that I am sitting, there's no rising. And the canter is a three beat gait."
