"Hi, I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you my tips and techniques to properly bridle your horse with a English bridle. I'm going to go over some of the basic parts of the bridle. These of course are the reins. This is what is attached to the bit so it enables you to control your horse when you are riding. The crown piece is the part that goes behind the horses ears. This is the brow band this is going to go across the forehead of the horse. This is a nose band, this goes across the horses nose. These are cheek pieces so these go on the horse cheek, this is also where you are able to adjust the length of your bit so it would be the proper size for your horses mouth. This little skinny strap here is your throat latch. So this would clip under your horses throat to hold the bridle on and then your nose band buckles on as well. This buckles under the horses chin so it would keep your bridle in place and keep a little bit better control. So those are some of the basic parts of the English bridle. "
