"Once you feel balanced and comfortable walking, you can move on to trotting. To get to trot, just like when we walk all you do is add some pressure with both calves and if your horse does not respond you can increase the pressure or even add a small kick. We are going to start by just sitting the trot, which is a more basic natural movement. Your hands are going to stay very still as at the trot, your horses head naturally stays quiet."
