"I would like to talk a little more about feeding. Again the importance of feeding I cannot overstate and the varieties of food available to you and the varieties that you should feed your fish is great. Now there are very many types of frozen foods. There are frozen bloodworms that come in handy, gumdrop dispenser where you can pop out one gumdrop or two or however many you need for the type and size of fish you have. There is saltwater fish food that can also be fed to freshwater fish it is called misa shrimp, again individually packaged, it is a little tiny shrimp, very healthy and great for fish, we have to feed this as a staple food for all of our saltwater fish every day. There is specially formulated food specific to different types of fish and their needs whether it be vegetarian fish like tangs or meat eaters like angel fish, and triggers. There is also fish or crustaceans that live in the ocean that are frozen for production for fish foods like krill and shrimps, pieces of squid, all of these things can be fed to a multitude of saltwater and freshwater fish. There is also refrigerator products out there like copepods and octopods, and different little small creatures that are used for feeding sea horses, gobies and other smaller type fish. As you can tell by all the different places I am going with this, there are many fish with varying requirements for nutrition and type of food that they eat in the wild and we can replicate that with frozen and dry foods. The key to this is giving them a variety of food, just like people, you don’t want to eat just one thing, it is bad nutrition, it is kind of boring, same thing for fish. If you need any more information on this, please see our website at underwaterdepot.net."
