"Hi! My name is Marc on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this clip we are going to talk about different foods and the importance of feeding your fish. Now basically there are two types of foods, there are dry foods and there are frozen foods. There is also third type, which is live foods, I am not going to get into that too much because it is not a fun subject and a little bit messy and not necessary for healthy fish. And one of the biggest misconceptions with aquariums and feeding is people think you feed the aquarium when in fact you are trying to feed the fish. Just like any other animal they need their nutrition to stay healthy and a variety of foods is the best way to about getting them that nutrition. There are also things like the pace of which you feed, how often you feed and how much you feed, they are very, very important and most people don’t think about that. There are pellet foods, there are dried flake foods, there is even specially formulated foods for vacations when you leave for periods of time they will slowly dissolve in the aquarium, there are certain little wafer foods for bottom feeding fish, foods that float, food that sink, a lot of varieties to the dry foods and they are just one part of the recipe for success with your fish. If you have any more questions on that please visit our web site at underwaterdepot.net. "
