" Hi! I am Marc on behalf of expertvillage.com. I am going to talk a little bit about cleaning and maintenance of your aquarium. Again saltwater and freshwater aquariums have to be maintained on a regular basis. Some of the things you have to do are testing, scrubbing of algae, changing the percentage of the water. I have got a couple of tools here that are pretty industry standards. On the left is an algae scraper, this is a handled one, it is white, use this on acrylic aquariums, so you don’t scratch it, this is used for removing algae that grows on the front, back, and sides of the aquarium. Next to that I have a gravel vacuum, again this is mostly used in freshwater, but sometimes in saltwater, we use this to vacuum the fish waste and food waste and other debris out of the gravel bed while you are doing your percentage water change. Maintenance is paramount to keeping fish healthy and keeping your aquarium looking very nice. Our professional maintenance crew can come to your house or business to do this and take the hassle out of your hands, and responsibility out of your hands, and for more information on that you can contact us at www.underwaterdepot.net.
