"Next we're going to take a smaller round brush and we're going to be applying some burnt umber to it. We're going to basically get more of a three dimensional effect on these shelves. Now if you actually will go back to our picture here you're going to notice the fact that the book shelves on those had books on them. You can have those; that is fine. But for me they're a little too distracting. Make sure your lines kind of come down here and meet. In my case I had one thing down here. Oh my goodness look at that. Look at that extra line I did. No problem. That's why we have extra brushes here. The paints still wet. Now you never even know. Now the next thing we want to do is take our small brush again, kind of add in some more shading in and around this back corner. What we're doing is giving the representation of depth. Nice brushes just going kind of across the floor? Like I'm doing here? And tapering off more as you get closer to the edge. You're not even going to be able to see them all the way down here at the bottom. So we're going to continue doing this all the way up to the top on these other bookshelf layers as well. Then it's going to look for like an actual book case sitting here next to our big puppy."
