"All right, the last thing you do in a eulogy--and I'm going to use a certain word and it's not going to make any sense to you--but you toast the person. Now I'm not talking about in the sense of raise your glass and take a drink. But a toast to a person in a eulogy are your last thoughts on their life, and you must touch on the afterlife. Okay, you don't have to belabor the point, but you want to talk about the future of the deceased. How bright heaven will be, whatever, wherever you believe this person is going, you want to briefly mention that. Because what happens here is you get the audience involved emotionally. And just a final tip for you, if you've been asked to deliver a eulogy I'm sure one of the main things that you're worried about is how you're going to get through it without crying. And I want to tell you something, it's totally okay to cry in your eulogy, because the chances are that everybody else is going to be crying to. So don't let that be a major concern. Prepare it, write it on a card if you need to, deliver it with the most sincere, heartfelt love you can for this person, and you'll be fine."
