Video Transcript

"The next type of eulogy that you might want to prepare and present is called the tribute. And the tribute is very similar to what you might see in the newspaper in an obituary. And an obituary is just a small bit of information in the newspaper and it talks about two things. The achievements and the accomplishments of the person that you're talking about. This is going to be a little bit more straightforward. It's not really connected to personal association, but you want to talk about all the achievements. Wife, husband, children, college, job, anything that that person achieved will be mentioned in this speech, and accomplishments. And for this you want to think in terms of they graduated from college. And maybe that was a big accomplishment for them. They worked at a job for forty-five years. Whatever their accomplishments were. Maybe it's ten kids and thirty-five grandkids. What did they achieve, and what did they accomplish is all you need to talk about in a tribute speech--a tribute eulogy."
