"Hi, Chrissy Lyons and we're back to continue our travel talk. Final bit of packing, something that you may have to take care of is putting together a little bag for a child like a carry on bag, something to keep them occupied. Having traveled with my two children when they were young, I always had some sort of little special bag for them. Either something very small like this which just happens to match the rest of our luggage or they can have their very own backpack. Some of the things they can put in, either you can put in as a surprise for them or you can take them shopping perhaps to a dollar store and let them pick out little goodies that they can play with only on the trip. Little things like toys that might occupy them. This one happens to have candies, of course mommy will monitor. Something else to keep them busy, little novelty cards. Just little toys and things that you think they might like to play with. They've got lots of these little pocket games nowadays that you can take and that will keep them occupied for a long time. Then little reading lights, just like a little flash light kind of thing. Kids like to poke around with those. Make sure you've got your batteries so they're in working order. You don't want to have them get on the plane or wherever you are and have them say, it's not working mom. Little books that will go good with the reading light. Little Kleenex for them and then any other kind of little games or puzzles, or word things, sometimes crayons. Of course if you're traveling by plane, they usually have bits and pieces for children, but then they've got just something to take with them that's their own that they have to be responsible for and keep them occupied. That's one more piece of travel talk for children."
