on 8/2/2008 Personally, I'd suggest a mini-flashlight in a purse/bookback/any other bag that you normally keep around. You can use it instead of a nightlight in the middle of the night by just keeping it and grabbing it when you need it, and then is is also super helpful in the night. Especially, if you're outdoors and you dropped something in the middle of the night. I always like to bring one. Then you can also, move room to room if need be and direct like specifically where you want without dependancy on outlets (which may even need a converter).

I definitely think a flashlight is the way to go, and they make some nice, small, and cheap ones that pack very easy.

That's my two cents.

"Hi, Chrissy Lyons and were back with Expert Village as we continue to pack our case. This segment I want to talk about packing small items and making use of the little holes and nooks and crannies that you find as you go along; anything small whether it be a little travel case or whatever. Look for empty spaces, kind of like fitting the pieces in a puzzle as you go. This actually is little binoculars but it is already in its own case. I am going to try to find a spot to put it. I am not going to stick next to a corner though because I do want it to be protected a little bit. So, I will find a little spot and kind of snuggle it in underneath something. Then socks; that are always a really good thing to make use of and actually it can have double duty. Another good item to take along when you are traveling. It is a small item but something that I think is very helpful is a night light. Where you are going you may not be familiar with. It is always a good thing whatever room you?re in to have a night light in case you get up and you?re not familiar with your surroundings. Kind of a nifty thing and not everybody thinks of it. But , double duty were going to wrap it inside a sock. There again making use of any little empty spot we can find. There is one underneath. Take socks, roll them. You can always smush them down in the corner too even behind the shoes. The idea is to try and make it as flat and as level as you can. So, that there are no hills and valleys along the way. We will be back with the next segment to see what else were going to pack."
