"Chrissy Lyons, we're back with expert village as we continue to pack for our trip. This segment we're going To talk about how to pack jeans, slacks, trousers, and the like. I've got two pairs of slacks, one jeans and one a regular pair of slacks. Now as I have them folded here, instinct would naturally find you putting them in your case like this. You can see that that actually takes up a lot of our area in the case. Well, I've figured out a way that we can actually pack those same pants and give us lots more room for everything else. It's a simple trick really. What you do is simply take your jeans or pants, stretch them out across the case, a little bit hanging over the edges like so. That way you're limited as to the amount of bulk and space that it's taking up. This is a lot thinner than it would have been had we folded them up as you saw. Take a second pair, do the same thing. What I would do is reverse them. Waistband at this end, leg, ankle at that end. Fold them over. Now again, there we have minimal amount of space in the bottom of the case allowing plenty of room for everything else without that one area of bulk. Then what you do is simply continue packing all your other items on top of the jeans, pants. When they're in there, take and fold over, and fold over, like a little lid on each side. That way you're getting by without the bulk and without as many creases and folds. Works really well, I think, if you give it a try. You'll see what I mean. Stay tuned as we load up the rest of the case."
