"This game I'm going to explain to you is the bridal shower version of Hot Potato. And you're going to do it for a gift. You're going to have all your guests sitting in a circle. And what you're going to do is, you're going to need a small gift that's going to be the gift that they'd win. And you're going to wrap this gift several times with all different kinds of paper. So you can do different kinds of wrapping paper, you can put tin foil, newspaper, Saran wrap. You're going to build on each layer and make sure again that you have several layers. Then you're going to start the music and everybody's going to pass the gift around, and when the music stops, that person unwraps a layer. And you continue this until you get around enough times until the person who opens the final layer is going to get to keep that gift. And what you can also do, which is really funny is, in between each layer, you can write, if you have a solid wrapping paper like this, you can write notes on it that says, "not this time, try again, sorry, no gift for you." But you're going to want to build on it. And you can do things that are really funny. You could put wax paper like I said, newspaper, tin foil, Saran wrap. You could throw some really kookie kind of wrappings in there. And just keep re-wrapping each layer. You can use bridal shower paper. So just try and get creative with it. And again, have somebody manning a boom box or a stereo. And every time the music stops, they get to open a layer. And the final person is going to get to keep that gift. And it's really funny to watch all the guests at the bridal shower act like they're little kids playing Hot Potato because they really want to win."
