"This is Vicki Walker for Expert Village. We are working today on tab top shower curtain. We've turned down the top and bottom hems and sewn that and we're about to apply the trim which indicates for our shower curtain is a wide ricrac. I will pin it, I've decided on six inches from the top. This will be the top of our shower curtain. So I am going to begin pinning so that I know that it's even all away across and making sure it's going to be flat. I'll turn this edge under when I begin sewing, I'll turn it under. Because if I were to put it on the back side it's not quite as neat as it will if I'm able to turn under the edge when I begin sewing. I will space down six inches again until I have it pinned all away across. Probably at like five or six inch intervals to make absolutely sure I have a straight line. And keeping the fabric flat so I don't have any wrinkles. Just pinning all away across and that's how we pin the ricrac to get it ready to sew the ricrac on and I'll be changing the thread color to make sure that it doesn't contrast too much with the ricrac. I'll be changing that to brown in the next clip."
