"This is Vicki Walker for Expert Village. Today we're making a tab top shower curtain. We have our fabric here, four yards of it, but we do not need four yards in length of course. We need two yards in length, which we need to cut and then sew side by side so that the shower curtain is wide enough for the shower opening. What we've done, I've got the two pieces, the two lengths together here. Two yards here and two yards underneath. I have fold here at the end and I'm just going to cut right at the two yard mark here at the end and we'll be ready to sew the two pieces together and have all the width that we need and all the length that we need. I can begin pinning the two sections together which I will do right now with these two inner pieces. I'd be better off to go ahead and open up. Inside so that my patterns will be in the right direction I am going to turn this section this way and we'll pin this so those two patterns look nice side by side. So I will pin these sections together and we'll be ready to sew in the next clip."
