Supplies Needed for Shower Curtain

"This is Vicki Walker for Expert Village. Today I'm demonstrating how to make a tab top shower curtain. The materials that you'll be needing could vary depending on how decorative you would like your shower curtain to be. I would like to add some trim to the shower curtain that I'll be making. This is the fabric that I've chosen to use was turquoise and brown and white in it. I would like contrasting fabric. I found this fabric that seemed to coordinate well with it and I'm planning to make the tabs for the top of the shower curtain with this contrasting fabric. I'd also like to add a nice bold rick rack that will be up near the top of the shower curtain that will go across. As well as these little pieces of trim, little shell trim that I found that I will put in random areas around on the shower curtain. The other basic necessities that you need in order to make a shower curtain are of course a sewing machine, matching thread. I'll also be changing to a different sort of thread when I sew the rick rack on, so I need that and for the tab tops we'll need the brown thread, also need pins and scissors as well as the different trims that I've mentioned. Also have a tape measure, because we'll need to make sure that the shower curtain is going to be long enough, not too long, we don't want it dragging the floor and I also got my seam gauge in case we need that for smaller things like seam measurements and those kinds of things. Those are the main supplies that we need in order to make a tab top shower curtain."
