on 8/21/2008 I just finished a garment bag following the instructions on this video. I made it for my granddaughter in bright colors with greens and pinks. I embroidered her name on it and used the ribbon. It turned out wonderful. The video and instructions are very easy to follow. This was a great video.

"This is Vicki Walker for Expert Village. We have completed the garment bag. We sewn all the trim and decorations on the front, the pockets, the ribbon, initial that was outlined in 3 different fabrics here. Reinforced the top edge, we have sewed side seams, we have the ribbons on the bottom to close it up. But let's see how it is going to look with the hanger inside. Would it be large enough to hold a large number of hangers. Sticking this right through the top, we have our completed bag and we just need to close it on up. I believe this would be the garment bag that any little girl would be proud to take to her next slip over or to grandmas house. That is how you make a garment bag. "
