How to Pin Ribbon Trim on Garment Bag

"This is Vicki Walker for Expert Village. We are continuing to work on our garment bag that we making today and now we are going to pin on the trim that we are going to use. The ribbon, the ribbon that we are going to use at the bottom that should give the bag a little bit of color. I'm going to cut the width that we need of each color that I'm using and then we would pin them on. This ribbon can be placed anywhere but I'm doing one at the bottom edge cause I intend to put a letter further up here in just a few minutes. So for the purpose of this bag we are going to put it near the bottom. I would start the top one let say 7 inches from the bottom edge pin it. We would do this one let's do 5 inches from the bottom on that one. I would pin the rest of the way across and then I would go back to the sewing machine and sew a seam right across the top one each one. Then right across the bottom on each one all the way across. That is how we take care applying the ribbon to the bottom of the garment bag."
