How to Reinforce Top of Garment Bag with Ribbon

"This is Vicki Walker for Expert Village. In this clip I would be showing you how to reinforce the top edge of your garment bag just to be sure that the edges do not fray and we have to have a finish edge near the top. So reaching over here I'm going to make it about that wide. We would need one from both sides so I would cut another length just the same. I have chosen this color of ribbon because one of the main contrasting fabric that I would be using this one. I thought that it would coordinate well with it. I'm just going to kind of wrap the ribbon around the top edge here this top section. Sew it right over the top of it like this. That is it. There is our reinforced edge. "
