How to Attach Ribbon Bow to Doll Sleeping Bag

"This is Vicki Walker on behalf of Expert Village. We are just about finish with the baby doll sleeping bag. In the last clip we where sewing the edge, the trim around the outside edge after we have done the top edge. We had some raw edges that where left here at the bottom. So we made sure to cover those up with the new trim that goes around the bottom edge. I have turned under the edge the ribbon as well so there would be no raw edges or ravel edges there. It would be a nice sturdy edge there for the baby doll where it would be used. So I sewed around the outside edge around to the end, reinforce that but that might also get a lot of wear and don't want it to come loose. I made a bow that I'm going to sew to the side just for looks. It is just a nice finishing touch that I would sewn on back here. I would put it on the center of the bow so it would not come untied cause I would think it would be used often and it may come undone if I have not sewn down the button like this. If it need to be washed, the bulk could easily be removed and even pinned down with a safety pin. In the next clip we would start talking about other accessories that could go with the baby doll sleeping bag like a pillow and a cover for the sleeping bag. Those are things that we would talk about in the next clip."
