"This is Vicki Walker on behalf of Expert Village. Now that I have basted the front to the back of th sleeping bag the bottom half and then all along the bottom edge, I'm going to use this bright coordinating ribbon to pin along the edges. Then at the end we would have a nice bow tie on the side just as much of a decoration as much as anything else. It would not really be functional. It would be a decoration but I'm going to pin this ribbon around the top half of the side. Then all the way around the top and then the back side back here. Then we would get back to the sewing machine to sew that portion on. Another option for this trim would have bean seam binding that would have wrapped around the edges. But I like the bright color of the green. I think it would be pretty with the lining in the inside. Another thing that we could have done was to put a applicate around the front or a initial of the little girl who's bag this would be. It would be a nice decoration even buttons sewn randomly around the front. Just even bow ribbons around the front would also be pretty. But ours would just have the green trim around the edges and we would continue to the next step in the next clip which would be sewing on the trim. "
