"This is Vicki Walker on behalf of Expert Village. Today we are making a baby doll sleeping bag a and I want to make sure that it is long enough so this baby doll would fit inside when the little girl is playing with her. So the best thing to start with is just a measurement of the doll. She is 18 inches long so we want to make sure that this the sleeping bag is approximately 18 long to give her room. We need to add a little bit for seam allowances. So we would do 20 inches long. Set here aside and measure out our fabric. So we would have a little bit of room to spare. This width is about the width that we would need it, it is 13 inches. So we would plan to make the bag 21x13 inches. That should give up plenty of room for the little doll to fit right inside. That is how we determined our measurements for our bag."
