"Another kind of enclosure for your bag is a tie enclosure. First I want you to take some fabric that's the same as the background fabric on the bag. Cut two medium strips. And we're going to cut these in half. That's all you need. So this is all I need for my tie enclosures. And because this is felt it won?t fray. If you're using other kinds of fabrics you're going to need to sew along those edges so it won?t fray. You're then going to take each tab and sew them to the inside part of your bag. So now I'm going to sew my pieces to the inside of my bag. I?ve chosen a thread that's the same color as my bag. And I'm just going to pick up the inside layer of the bag and sew this right to it. You can do a whip stitch which means you go around the edges. And just get that securely attached. I'm going to go across the top a little bit. Another time across the top and down the other side. So I'm basically making a little square shape. Pull that thread secure and then make a knot. And I do the same thing on the other side. So we're just going to finish this up along the top and then I want you to tie it off into a knot. Remember go around through the loop, once, put your needle underneath that, twice and then cut it off. And then you can just tie this like that."
