Attaching an Animal Face Purse Strap

"Now we have our, the face of our purse done and the strap done, we're going to now attach the two together. I want you to open up the purse just like this, right next to the ear and take the strap and place it right on the inside, right there. And we're just going to sew it in by hand. You need the flexibility of doing by hand. Also, I have chosen white thread rather than black thread because even though it's going to show up white on this, it won't show up on the outside of our bag, which is what we want. So I'm going from the outside of my bag in, and I'm just going to do some whip stitches through. Okay, pull it up to the knot, and then I'm going to go through that. So I'm going all the way through both layers of the back and through the side of the strap. And then I'm going to go through the top part of this, and I'm going to go back over that again. You want this really secure because this is how you're going to hold the purse. So you don't want this strap coming undone. Better to over sew this than under sew it. You don't want it breaking and having your stuff go everywhere. And remember to be neat on the outside. It doesn't matter what it looks like on the inside. It needs to be neat on the outside. So just continue to sew around until that side of the strap is securely set on your purse. And then do more of that whip stitch around, and you're going to want to do this on the other side as well, and get the bottom part of it. Just make sure it's very secure. Okay, so then tie that knot off, go through the loop, do that again. Grab that thread, go through the loop, that's two, one more time. I like to do three. It won't come undone. Okay, cut your thread, and there. You've go that attached. The handle. Let's do the other side and you'll be complete."
