"So I have my face done with my ears attached, I have my second piece of fabric, I have my fabric with the pocket sewn on it, and I have my fourth piece of fabric. We're going to layer these also. It gives stability to the purse and it also creates a nice width of the purse. So now I want you to line these up and pin them, and we're going to sew all the way around the perimeter of the purse. So I want you to start sewing on the edge, next to the ear. We're not going to sew over the ear. We're going to sew under the ear. So make that your starting point. Get that in your machine. Again, remember to go back and forth over the beginning and the end of your sewing. Now we're going to sew all the way around. Remember, go back again, and as you can see, there's a little edge along that. That is quite alright. You don't want to sew right on the edge. And there you have the edges sewn on your cat purse."
