Sewing Animal Face Purse Pockets

"In this step we're going to produce pockets for the inside of your purse. So you have all of the inside is the same as the outside of your purse. Cut out little squares or rectangles for what you're going to use them for. If you're going to put a cell phone in make it the cell phone size. If you're going to make it for business cards make it a business card size. I'm going to do two pockets. And they must fit inside this shape. So I have pinned my pockets to my background fabric. And now I'm going to sew them on three sides. Remember you don't want to sew the opening closed. You're just going to sew around the edges on each side. So and leave about an 1/8th of an inch on each side of your foot just so right along the edge. When you come to the corners drop your needle down, lift your foot up and move it around instead of trying to wheel around the corner. And one more time. And to finish it off always go backwards over your stitches and forwards again. And that way you don't have to tie another knot. So do that on the other side as well. There. You have two completed pockets for the inside of your bag."
