"So now we're going to add some whiskers to the cat. And you will need your embroidery thread and an embroidery needle and some scissors. And I'm going to teach you how to do a French knot. Start from the bottom. You've already put a knot in your thread. You're going to go up until your knot hits then you're going to take your thread, you're going to take your needle and you're going to go one, two, three around, you're going to go down near that and hold it taught with this hand and pull. Don't pull that through. Hold your thread there. Sometimes your thread will want to kink up. Just do it slowly. And there's your French knot. Let's do that one more time so you can see what that looks like. You're going to go up from the bottom. You're going to go one, two, three around, you're going to go back down next to it but not in the exact same hole. You're going to kind of hold it, wiggle your needle through carefully, pull your thread slowly so it doesn't kink up and there's your French knot. Now from your French knot you're just going to do like a running stitch. So you're going to come up again and we're going to make the whisker. So you're just going to go down. And then I want you to come up inside that thread and then go down again. You're going to continue this into a long line to make a whisker. And I would do three or four on each side. And just continue until you have that. Now we're finishing up the whiskers. When you get to the end pull your thread through on the other side. Take a little piece of thread that you've gone run through on a stitch, go under that, put your needle through that and make a little knot. And do it one more time to secure it. Same thing. Show you one more time. You just slip it underneath the thread. Go through the hole and pull. And then cut your thread off and there you have it. Whiskers on your cat face."
