"In this clip I'm going to show you how to make a pattern from your drawing. First you'll need some paper. You can have a roll of paper like this or you may just have newspaper at home or printer paper. All of that will work fine. I'm going to use the roll paper today. So we start with our picture of our drawing. So we'll need a background. We're going to need the shape. I'm doing the panda right now. The shape of the black on the eye. We're also going to need the white of the eye and the black of the eye. We're going to need the nose. So just follow your drawing. And make sure you get the ears and the strap. Now, cut these out. Oh, let's close that ear. And you only need to do one ear because you can use that pattern twice. Cut all these out and you'll have your pattern. Try, assemble them on there and make sure it's the right shape. If it's too small or too large you can draw it again and redo it. But place all your pattern pieces on the main pattern so that it does look exactly like your drawing."
