"Hi, this is Stephanie and I am going to talk about adding chipboards to your scrapbook pages. Chipboard is a really popular embellishments right now and it is one of my favorites. It is a hard cardboardish thing that adds volume and depth to your pages but isn't very thick. When you punch it out you can see it is really thin. You can decorate it in lots of different ways. You can use acrylic paint, you can stamp on it, you can also use what you punched out as a stencil. If you rub ink on it, you can kind of see that it just picks up some of the color in whatever way that you want it to look. It can have a real distressed look like that or you can put it all the way on just to make it look different. Another thing that you can do with it that I like to do is just use a stamp to give it a different type of texture. This is a texture stamp, so I am just going to rub it on and it will pick up the texture of the stamp and give you a different look. Here is where I did that with some alphabet chipboard; I just stamped on them and inked the sides and it just gives a different type of look. Chipboards come in different types of shapes, some flourishes and I think it is a really great embellishment for scrapbooking."
